This landscape is one of 3 paintings I did of a sunset in Algarve, Portugal. Sometimes I get so taken by a view I will paint it several times and each time it will be different.
It was our first night there and I still remember that moment of seeing something and being somewhere for the first time. That's what this painting does for me, takes me right back to that magical moment.
