Walking down to the sea, I was captivated by the sun reflecting off these flowers, symbolic of wealth and summer, and felt a pull to paint them. I loved this view so much it became a series of five paintings, growing larger as the series progresses.
A warm, sunlit piece for anyone drawn to the wildflowers of the Welsh coast path, its gestural brushstrokes would brighten any room and bring a little of the Pembrokeshire coast home with it.
